Meli HThe food was great I ordered the crab cake and the bread pudding which was also recommended by the server Andrea who was wonderful by the way. Andrea recommended the dessert and I’m glad she did too. She also recommended the holy pear. Which turned out to be a great tasting cocktail. I would definitely come back again. Great vibes
Food GoddessI wanted to have dinner before I saw Gregory Porter but I couldn't get the right reservation on Open Table so I called the restaurant. The phone was answered by a really nice person and I explained why I needed to change the reservation and voila! Got to the restaurant early, we were seated immediately. Service was amazing. Just had to look up and someone was there. Staff was very polite and we were able to ask questions before we ordered. We decided to do the pre-fixed menu and most of the food was great even the variety of bread which i had to stop eating. The appetizers were great and my date's salmon was delicious. However, the greens which came with my entree were very salty and the deserts didn't match the description. I thought I ordered an espresso/cappuccino cheesecake and it was more like a mousse and my date ordered the apple bread pudding and it was more like an apple struddle with lots of cinnamon. Still tasty but just a bit different. I will go back again and again and again because it was an amazing experience and I want to try other things on the menu.
MarkI thought that the steak and service would be better in New York. It's a little disappointing. I got tuna tartare for an appetizer and a filet mignon for an entree. The tuna was really bland, and the filet was overcooked. The person I was with also got a filet mignon, which was overcooked. Server never stopped by to see if we needed any refills or to see how our dinner was. Disappointing. Probably wouldn't go back.
