Very disappointed in this firm, they are handling an issue for my wife’s family for more than a year now and they keep sending private confidential documents to the wrong address. After informing them to correct this issue the lady on the phone was brash, rude and dismissive of my wife’s concerns. It was a simple address correction and they couldn’t even do that. We just received another set of documents that were sent to the wrong address AGAIN!! They have no respect for privacy, find another lawyer one that will respect you as a human being and not a paycheque.

I recently sold my home in Ottawa and purchased one in Timmins. I chose Riopelle Group because they have offices in both locations, and could not be happier with the results. The Riopelle Group represents the Crown for Provincial Court matters in Timmins. After sending me a registered letter outlining an adjournment in the matter I phoned to confirm that I didnt need to travel 10 hrs from Kawartha Lakes to attend the court date. On the day of court they did not adjourn the matter rather they set a new date instead and didnt notify me. Subsequently I missed that appearance and was convicted in my absence. I was never notified about this either but recieved a letter from the MTO recently that my drivers licence was suspended for a unpaid fine. This was a very unethical thing to do and now I face a HUGE insurance rate hike as a license suspension makes me a high risk now. Beware when dealing with Riopelle as ethics are in short supply in my opinion.

Horrible! Took a couple years for a simple task and still not completed. They became rude, and did not respond to phone calls. Would not recommend!!
