I have had a severe dental phobia for years due to my detrimental experiences as a child. So much so that when I was old enough to make my own dental decisions, I made the decision not to see a dentist again for a long number of years, unfortunately much to my own detriment. When the dentist that I had been going to off & on retired, I had to find someone new. My first requirement was a dentist that offered sedation. I chose Dr. Walter Heidary (Desired Smiles) & was very nervous going in for the the first time. To make a very long story, much shorter, I couldn't have picked a better dentist or dental staff. I have been on a "dental journey" this past year & have had some very extensive work/surgery done on my teeth. I have done a couple of those treatments with sedation, but with the care, compassion & patience of Dr. Walter & his staff, I also completed a fair number of treatments without. The work that Dr. Walter has done for me has given me back my smile & much needed ability to eat again.He has changed my life & is truly an artist! His whole staff offers the same care, compassion & patience & all are incredibly knowledgeable in their fields & I have come to feel so comfortable with everyone. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone to go to see Dr. Walter, but if you experience any sort of dental fears, you will never feel more comfortable than with him & his staff. The team takes care to explain in detail what each visit entails and the procedures that will be executed. The staff is professional, courteous and kind and friendly. My hygienist Maha , has exceptional knowledge about holistic teeth care , and even though I am a nervous patient, she is so gentle my smart watch thought I was taking a nap when I was in the chair! I absolutely recommend for all dentistry!
