What went wrong with Freeway Taxi insurance? You now have to do everything on line and can no longer get to speak to a human being! I have just spent the last three days trying to get cancellation information from them but all you get is, "you need to complete a cancellation Form" which is sent via SMS with a link to the Form which you have to complete. Unfortunately it will only give me a calendar where you can only select a date from July this year and it is actually January and will not let me select this date! The were at one time a great company, easy to contact and excellent communication but not anymore.

You ring them for a quote and an automated system tells you to do an online quote. You do the quote and the a message comes up saying can’t give you a price ring the number below you call the number and the automated system tells you, you can’t speak to sales you have to WhatsApp them instead. It takes ages for a response. I’ve given up on freeway going with DCL instead. Freeway quote £2500 DCL quote £1800 Big difference

This company is a complete rip-off and seems completely out of touch with market rates. While their competitors are quoting annual premiums of around £2,000 for a fully comprehensive policy, this company quoted me over £7,000. They then sent me a text asking for any cheaper quotes I received, promising to match or beat them. I provided them with my renewal quote from my current insurer, which was £2,100. After that, they messaged me again, saying their underwriter had lowered the price. However, upon reviewing the new quote, it was still over £7,000—nothing had changed. Since then, they have continued to send me misleading text messages, and despite my requests for them to stop, they keep coming.
