Everybody at foodland cares and its a good spot. The sobeyes line of pre cooked barbecue chicken sucks, and its greasy though. If you buy barbecue chickens for an easy healthy meal prep, foodlands and sobeyes bbq chickens are usually loaded with grease.. independents isnt looking super optimal either, but their parent company "superstore" has amazing quality, and highly flavourful and much healthier barbecued chicken. I like the people at this store, and i like the store, but their barbecue chicken has gotten greasier and greasier and because of that, less wholly flavoured with that good salt undertoned, replaced with grease and gravyness.. probably something to do with the Chain of command.. but i digress.. just needed to vent my frustrations.

Doesn’t even deserve a star. What kind of company changes the price to a higher price on things about to expire so they can mislead the customers into thinking they are getting a couple of dollars off shame on you do better

If I could give no stars o definitely would. This is the ONLY store that I know that has 20 different policies depending on who you talk to every cashier seems to have a different policy that they go by and the only store that doesn’t go or there own policy!!I have had numerous experiences when something on the shelf had a wrong tag above it stating a different then what the product rings up as when going to the till. I was told and read on the policy that if the price of wrong above the product you get it for that price. When this ends up happening the cashiers tell me anything just so they don’t have to honor the discount. In my opinion it is the owner and workers responsibility to have the right tags above the right product it is not the customer’s responsibility!! Foodland in Berwick is the only store that I’ve been to that doesn’t honour there own policy and the customer seems to always get the loss I truly believe that is wrong it’s not the customers fault that they didn’t do there job right and tagged there products properly!!! I’m so tired of this store maybe they need to go over there policy with ALL there employees they all have the same stories at least! It’s pretty sad they can’t just honour there policies so worried that they might have to give a customer a real discount for there mess up very unhappy with this place!!! What a joke!!!

The store is small, the parking lot is kinda cramped.. Inside, products are easy to find but when it's busy the small store can feel very crowded & we find it difficult to get around inside when there are a lot of shoppers. They have good sales & local produce to choose from. There isn't a lot of in store baked stuff anymore or much from the deli. The meat selection is usually very good. Cashier's are fast and friendly. It's not a bad little grocery store.
