Arrived there and 2 other tables were occupied. The man behind the bar had football with the volume really loud on the TV 🤷🏼 so the atmosphere was totally not what we expected, it was more like a pub than Indian Street food vibe 🙄 The price of drinks is shocking £7 for a pint of lager! The menu prices online are all wrong and its about £3 more expensive per main meal when you actually get the menu in the venue 😒 The poppadoms were really oily and the main meals were nothing like they were described and just tasted like a standard balti type sauce/curry. I wouldn't recommend, there are far better, cheaper and nicer places than here. We definitely won't be going again 👎🏻

Very disappointed with the food and service (and I regret taking my friend here for his last meal before returning overseas). The food was disappointing. The devilled king prawns were very salty (and not at all very spicy) and had a taste of shrimp paste (people who are familiar with Vietnamese mam tom will know the taste exactly). There were four of them on the plate and none of them tasted fresh. The dumplings lacked flavour and were just like the frozen kind you can buy from any Asian supermarket. The poppadoms were too greasy (but at least the sauces were decent). You get the idea ... Service was underwhelming. Some of us ordered tapas, whereas one got a main dish. The tapas arrived quickly, but my friend had to wait 30 minutes for his main dish (and so we had finished by the time his food arrived)! One of our Kingfisher beers had about 3 inches of foam - not ideal to lose that much beer when half-pints are £3.95! In hindsight, I should have asked for it to be topped up. As others have commented, the cleanliness of the restaurant didn't appear up to scratch. The toilet was filthy and the view into the kitchen on the way down the stairs didn't look great. I was so underwhelmed by the food that I didn't bother taking photos, but I did get a snap of the bathroom on the way out! It pains me to write a bad review, but I would not recommend this place. It does not provide value for money, and we all expected much more.

such a lovely little restaurant. good quality was amazing and the service was extremely fast. the pricing was more than reasonable and the employees were upbeat and amicable. overall a very nice atmosphere, would 100% come again!
