Do not use this company as a property management company. They moved tenants in our place and allowed them to smoke and trash our place. The inspections they claimed they do were non existent. The smoke smell was noticeable as soon as you entered. Furniture trashed. The tenants fought non stopped. We got fined many times and our neighbors of the unit hated us. We literally had to replace everything. Nothing was done by Five Star until it was too late and their only response was "I'm sorry from the owner Michelle." We lost money on our investment instead of earning due to Five Star.

Worst property management company we’ve ever had as property owners. They neglected the property so that by the time the tenants moved out, the property was trashed, literally. They also allowed the tenants to steal appliances and did nothing about it. As an investment property, they allowed us lose money on this investment. They’ve definitely cured us of ever hiring property management companies ever again.

My husband and I have used Five Stars PM since 2016. Five Stars manages 6 of our properties, and it is FANTASTIC!! I do not live in South Carolina, so I really depend on my property manager to be honest and professional. We have used Five Stars to renovate a property, find temporary housing for a tenant when a pipe burst that flooded the unit, assume management of my property that was being poorly managed by another company, etc. In each instance, this company does it's very best! I never had to make a trip to South Carolina to handle anything! Michelle and Racheal (and the rest of their team) have been awesome, and if you ask them to help with something, they are more than willing. Truly, this is an outstanding property management company! I hired this company when the co-founder, Maryjane V., worked with them. When Maryjane suddenly went to Heaven, Michelle and Racheal worked diligently to maintain continuity in service. These ladies, and the rest of their team, are outstanding! Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about Five Stars!!
