A must-visit seafood gem in Albufeira If you’re looking for fresh, beautifully prepared fish and seafood in Albufeira, Festa da Praia is a standout. Tucked away from the tourist traps, this cozy family-run spot delivers both quality and authenticity. We ordered the grilled seabass, seabream and sole (prepared at the table) — all were exceptional. So was the grilled chorizo served in a flaming dish. The freshness of the fish was undeniable, and the simplicity of the seasoning let the ingredients shine. Service was warm and attentive without being rushed. You could tell they genuinely cared about the experience. Paola and Pedro treated us like family. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of gluten-free options, which made dining here a lot easier for someone with dietary restrictions. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the seafood and the generous portions. Tip: make a reservation if you’re dining during peak season — this is the kind of place locals go back to, and with good reason. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy an honest, delicious meal in Albufeira. A highlight of our trip.

Very good people and food. Great place to bring kids. Is like a little festival. The food wow we shared the lobster rice, good amount of seafood and broth. It taste very homey.

I really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant and the service was top! All the waiters were lovely and very attentive. My son even made use of the small area while waiting for dinner. There is a brilliant fish selection and the cocktails are delicious 😋 So good we came back on our last night 💙

We came here as two families with 3 kids. Service was good, staff was friendly. We shared the tapas board as starter and kids chose from the snack menu. Star of the show was definitely the Seafood Rice with lobster and prawns. There was plenty of prawns, big and small. It came in a pot and is supposed to serve 2. It was big enough to serve three people. We also ordered from the ‘specials’ which was a selection of fish and seafood. We chose the monkfish and prawns kebab, again delicious. Would definitely recommend this place, especially if you like seafood. It’s kids-friendly too.
