beffi don’t want people to think this whole place was bad because it’s not whatsoever. the service was great, and my hairdresser was a really nice guy, but what i asked for in the chair was not done and as such i’ve been incredibly upset about my haircut. now i know it’s just hair and it grows back, but this was beyond any bad haircut i’ve ever had and really takes the cake. first off— on the website and booking system, they ask you to implement what style and cut you want. i asked for some layers, and for my hair to be washed. i got neither. instead, i was asked what cut i wanted upon arrival (which i expressed as some shorter layers just above the shoulder) and my hair was not washed as i’d requested, instead it was just sprayed down (not the end of the world i know). after i’d talked with the stylist, he confidently started chopping. as he did, he cut my hair so incredibly short at the back of my head first that i didn’t realise how much he’d cut off until he started on the sides of my head. by then it was too late for me to complain or say a word— the hair was gone and so be it. by the end and my hair being dry, my barnet was by my EARS and the shortest it has ever been, instead of just above my shoulders like i’d asked. the nape of my neck is fully exposed, and the bits of hair around my face have been cut so vertically that i look like one of oliver cromwell’s peasants. if they have such an advanced booking system of specifics, why don’t they use these when it comes to the actual appointment? and please, why didn’t my stylist listen to me. is all i’m saying. i know i’m probably just one person, but i left the salon in quite a bit of upset. really nice hairdresser, but really bad service.
