The food was great. This was my first time having a poké bowl in North Bay and Poké Bar did not disappoint. Just as good as the poké bowls I've had in major centers. The small area to sit and eat your food wasn't incredible, but it was clean and quiet. This place offers student and military discount. I'd definitely go back.

This place is one of the best places in North Bay!!! Exactly what this small city was missing. It has easily made it to our top 5 places to eat in North bay♥️ The Hawaiian poke bowl with marinated salmon is my go to and I recommend it 1000%. Everything is so fresh, tasty, balanced and healthy guilt free feeling. We're true foodies who can be very critical with it comes to taste, quality and presentation and this place has earned a #1 place in all departments with ease. Even comparing to poke places in Toronto this place is the best!! You can tell the owner is passionate not only about the food but also when it comes to training and respecting his staff as well. From what we've heard and seen he makes training and learning fun teaching the staff to put 100% forward. I can't wait to come eat here again, I think it's going to be my 1st pick go to.

So when I show up in the restaurant I definitely get my full portions and the food is prepared better, When I order from Skip I tend to get lighter portions or even half portions and when I call the restaurant to have this rectified I get "Deal with skip" as a response. I'm not sure if this was an isolated incident or not. I love these dishes, and they have welcomed the opportunity to cater to gluten-free options. I can't say for sure if it's celiac safe, but from an intolerance level they do good. All in all I'm not sure if the skip problem was an isolated event but from a customer service point it was unpleasant. I hope to continue buying here because I love the food and good fish plates are few and far between in North Bay I find.
