really lovely atmosphere! probably the friendliest hot topic i’ve ever been in. i went with friends today and got two pins and two nail polishes- Nico was super helpful and nice, and helped me save on said nail polishes. excited for the next time i’m in town to go!

Honestly one of the friendliest places you'll visit in Square One. The employees are the highlight, and all the times I've visited, I've been greeted with kindness! Staff are always there to help if you need anything--please ask nicely! Personally, the awesome atmosphere (mostly) makes up for the inflated prices Hot Topic has been pulling.

If you are a fan of black T-shirts with large prints on them, you are going to love this shop. I bought a few T's with my fave characters from an anime and marvel shows. I saw a couple of cute backpacks here, and again with my fascinations about tumblers is hard to resist in consideration. Definitely check this shop as they have many hidden gems.

I am extremely disgusted with the experience that I went through today at this location. Me and my boyfriend were shopping, and selected two pairs of shorts for him to try on. We walked up to the dressing room which was empty, and nobody helped us nor acknowledged us even with clothes in our hand (nice customer service!), so I decided to pull the curtain myself. About 20 seconds into holding the curtain so nobody saw my boyfriend in the glass they have, a worker with short blonde and white/bleached hair shouted at me; ''Excuse me did any employee help you with that dressing room?'' I explained no, since nobody cared to help us. She then continued to use an extremely loud tone and even said, I kid you not, ''This is a WARNING for the future, you need to tell the staff if you need to use the change room, how many items do you have, we need to know''. I explained yet again that nobody helped, and that if she wanted to see the room, she absolutely could and that we can prove we have two items (I originally said one as a mistake, I forgot; too busy getting yelled at by this rude girl). I get we are young, but why would someone with their hair pulled back, a distinctive outfit and noticeable tattoos steal at your location? That is absurd. She also asked me and my boyfriend if we were okay after, but so sarcastically. She also thought I put something in the wrong place, and mumbled something which I tuned out because I just felt so disgusted. I work retail, and could not believe that a simple error lead to such a fiasco and honestly, embarrassment. How about you put a sign up to say ''Wait for an employee'' like other stores have? How about being nice? How about not treating me grossly and implying that I am a thief when I have been shopping there for YEARS and have my NAME AND NUMBER on file?? What is the point in trying to make someone's night bad over a CHANGE ROOM? She kept talking and staying near us, even following us to checkout, just to make sure I would not say anything, I am sure. She was glued to the iPad pretending to not hear. The cashiers were rude too. They act entitled and mad when you interrupt their talking to checkout. I have been at this location since I was a kid. I loved it so much. But honestly, there is no balance. It is either over the top friendly or this terrible experience. Your employees should be trained to treat people with respect. A cashier cannot give out a ''warning'' to someone who made a simple mistake. Do better. Never going back; go to Lime Ridge or Eaton Center locations, they are better.
