This woman should never have been trusted to represent a vulnerable child. As my court-appointed lawyer through the Office of the Children’s Lawyer over 15 years ago, her complete failure to act with competence, urgency, or integrity nearly cost me my life. I do not say that lightly—I genuinely believe her negligence and apathy contributed directly to a situation that endangered my safety and well-being as a child. Her representation was not just inadequate—it was dangerous. She ignored red flags, failed to advocate, and abandoned her duty to protect a child in crisis. I look back on that time and wonder how someone so careless and detached could ever be permitted to represent children. Her failure still haunts me. To this day, I question how she has avoided being disbarred. It is appalling that she remains in practice. If you are considering her for any case involving children or vulnerable individuals, I urge you—do not. Her actions (or lack thereof) were not only unprofessional; they were life-threatening.
