I had a great experience at one-o-five hair studio and spa! It was my first visit with them, after I asked late rescheduling for my hair appointment, and they were eager to take good care of my hair. I came in early and they took me right away. Before, my dark roots were growing in and my hair had a harsh line dividing the bleached part (picture 1). Kevin was gentle and kind throughout the service, and gave me recommendations based on my hair health. The dye was a very good match to my roots (picture 2) and I am super satisfied with my decision to visit this salon. I’ll be sure to come back for my hair needs.

I went in yesterday to get a wash and style, initially showing my own photo for styling reference. As I did on my own, blow dry roller set for that bouncy blowout look. I was told they can do it but with a straightener since they claimed my hair would fall down with blow dry. (Although all the hundreds of times I've done my hair blow dried it holds for days). I said sure because I know the volume and wavy wisps *can* be done, with a straightener post drying. It looked -okay at the end, while at the salon. However, I have some feedback. Even though my stylist did it with the straightener, she almost didn't know how to use it.. the "waves" fell within an hour. I didn't even get to my dinner with my hair looking the way it did in the salon initially. I had to restyle my hair at home. The stylist herself was very kind and gentle. However, she did say it was her first day and she was struggling with the equipment. For the owners: When you hire a new person please make sure that you give them a good rundown on how to operate your equipment, and make sure that your stylist can be honest about whether or not they can recreate the inspiration photo. I tipped my stylist $5 regardless because it WAS her first time and she did do a decent job washing, she just needs more practice styling so I'm talking to the management here, make sure if you're charging full price- your stylist can do the photo exactly. I necessarily wouldn't have minded the outcome with a junior stylist, had the price been lower for less experienced stylists and I was told about this ahead of time.

Kim was amazing. I was a very last minute customer today looking for a trim and she did exactly that- she got rid of all my damaged hair without cutting it too short and was so kind! She even gave me a nice blowout. Very reasonably priced and I will definitely be returning. Everyone in the salon was super friendly too

I got my haircut done by Myla and I’m truly impressed! She’s incredibly talented and gave her full attention to what I wanted. I absolutely love how my hair turned out. Myla is professional, skilled, friendly, and sweet. She made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. I highly recommend booking with her for a great haircut or styling session!
