We had originally signed up with another company, but due to some unforeseen circumstances after 3 months of waiting for installation, that company referred us to Epic to be able to move at a faster installation rate. Everyone has been amazing to deal with, very fast in response and to the point. We got everything installed, up and running, within 3 weeks. Nigel was awesome at showing us how to get everything reset if needed, how the app works, etc. He made us feel comfortable to reach out if we ever need any anything or have any sort of questions. Even the inspector from NB power had really good things to say about their work and how reliable they are. 10/10. Thanks for everything Epic!

Epic just installed 28 (14kw) of panels on my roof, with a 10kw inverter. Great service from quoting process to install. Some delay with Canada Greener Home program, but Epic was quick to reschedule as required. I did not have to wait weeks for a new install date when I was not ready for the original date. Great crew for installation. They were professional, efficient and you could tell they have done this many times. Care taken on esthetics of cable runs. Electricians ensured everything was perfect for inspections. Nigel did a great job showing how the system works and the getting the app up and running. Everyone from Richard, Donna, Chantal, Nigel and all the installers (could not name them all) were very responsive and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Epic Energy Solutions to anyone.

Epic Energy was recommended to me and I reached out as I was planning my new build. While in discussion with Richard Knappe, it became clear I have the ability to achieve net zero. I then adjusted my house design three times to come up with a roof length and pitch to allow 76 solar panels. Epic assisted in the application for net metering, and the government rebates. Epic communicated and answered all my questions. They either emailed, texted, or called. Either immediate, or within the day. This is comforting when you are doing something that deals with multiple companies. (Govt grants, city permits, electrical permit, engineer approval, net metering application, NB power connection) The only glitch, or setback, was the Epic energy engineer would not sign off until the roof trusses were supported with a sister stud. Not a big deal, it just would have been nicer to have caught this during the build. It only took 2 days to install the 76 panels on a 11/12 pitch roof. Then it took about 1 month for public safety to approve my system. Then 2 weeks for NB power to install the smart meter to allow bi-directional monitoring. Epic provided an app that shows real time usage and how much money is gained! I then was curious where the energy sources were within my home. Epic immediately provided me information on “Emporia Energy”. I agreed and in 2 days Epic opened my three panels ( 2x 200 amp entrance and a transfer panel). I had individual sensors placed on 46 breakers. Now I can see real time energy use in the house. No guessing how much energy things take. Like is the freezer as efficient as it claims? The emporia app shows real time solar gain and real time energy being used in the house. So you can run the high energy things when you see solar is over producing. Like program dishwasher to run at noon. All in all, a grand experience. I highly recommended Epic Energy Solutions.
