EPES Transport System LLC

Recently changed driver managers and was informed that we are moving to a new system that following Sunday. That is the level of communication you can expect from Epes transport. This company will absolutely waste your time. With 8 hours on the clock after a delivery, they’ll tell you that they’re working on a preplan. Then after 8 hours you’ll go to bed to find that they haven’t found anything from that morning to the next. This has happened multiple times. Mind you, you aren’t getting paid for that time they’re making you sit. I get that in the start of the year freight is slow. But if you don’t have freight in that area the least you can do is move the driver. I started at 50/mi doing SE regional. Idk if any of their drivers are actually making anything outside of minimum wage but at this point it would be more profitable for me to work literally anywhere else. Between the lack of communication, inability to get you loads consistently, lack of preplanning and generally uncomfortable cameras inside the cabin. It’s hard to say it’s worth risking my life to get their paper to a paper plant.

Stupid drivers on this company!!!!! Stopped on pomp like stupid truckers! I’m waiting him more than half hour!!!!

One of your tractor trailer drivers just ran me off the road and into the sidewalk by cutting me off into my turn lane in Clearwater Florida on Gulf to Bay and Highland Ave. I have pictures and video to prove it. Why would you hire idiots that don't know how to drive a large truck that could kill somebody???
