Great experience. Lydia's team of packers did a great job and were careful with all our stuff. 6 bedroom house with 3 car garage. Packed it all up in two days. Loading was great. On time and Don the driver had 30 years experience and a brand new truck and trailer for us. Unloading was on time and done in less than six hours. Only casualty was a $70 lamp. No big deal. Don even came back the next day to help us with the large pictures unpacking. Above and beyond. Got the weight slip and turns out I was over estimated by $3,500. A pleasant surprise. The owner even popped by the house to see what was happening on loading day. They were very careful of all our wood floors when wrapping the furniture and not a SINGLE nick or gouge on any of the walls or doors. If I could I would give them 6 stars! BTW I have moved professionally many times and this was by far the best. Straight shooting friendly folks.......

I have used other movers to help move my family's belongings before, this company was by far the most destructive I have ever seen to date. The mover are nice but that is the only positive. Things like dishes and silverware will be packed with items like a toilet plunger. If you had unopened dry goods (food) expect those to be packed with laundry detergent. Clean blankets will be shoved into litter boxes (which was also clean but I requested them not to do that only for them to do it when I wasn't watching). They will take apart items that shouldn't have been taken apart and pack them into very different boxes. For example, the lid to a Dutch oven was removed from the pot, three of the "feet" from a small chair, a cushion from a lap tray and a bunch of plastic cups in the same box which was labelled living room. One of the "feet" now is missing. They will overpack boxes and then put those heavy boxes on top of smaller lighter boxes crushing them and their contents. Larger furniture is also not immune to their destruction as they will find a way to break them. There is a good chance they might not come with enough boxes or movers. When this happens expect them to be upset after a while and start being more destructive. The owner came a couple of times to speak with the movers but she didn't make things any better (nor did she bring more boxes.) I'm posting this review because even after seeing everything that was broken, I thought with the pictures we provided to them they would approve our claims. They deny our claims so while we fight to get them to pay to replace our stuff. I thought it would be best to leave a review for those who might choose them. To pretty much beware of this company.

Emrick's was great! Matt, Lydia, and Bob made a potentially difficult move nearly seamless. They were with us the whole way through despite issues with the driver (not an Emrick's driver) and delivery crew (not an Emrick's crew). They were honest brokers of the processes, provided us with timely updates and information, and were with us every step of the way. Additionally, the crews they hired to pack and load were punctual, professional, and responsive to our asks. Would use them again and recommend them to others.
