Visited this historic space as part of the Open Elgin architectural tour. Stunning two-story open atrium. We enjoyed walking all around the space on the mezzanine, then taking the elevator to the 8th floor for Elgin Art Showcase. Only one small elevator and it doesn't hurry! Worth the wait. Thanks to the volunteers who opened the space for us. #OE2023

We always enjoy when our music school hosts Recital Nights at the Art Showcase. The only negative today was that the building heat was very low, probably due to the holiday. A little more warmth would have been good. Also, finding information on where to rent the Art Showcase is not obvious.

The community Sunday afternoon theater performance we attended in December was fun. I counted about 60 seats in a charming historical room.
