Customer experiences
I like this place. I have stayed here twice, and will stay here again. The staff, especially, Adalanda was so accommodating and cared about my happiness with my room. The room had carpet that appeared to be new. This is a welcomed change to what I have seen in other Choice hotels recently. ||||Adalanda asked me to please fill out a review of their house of hospitality, I promised her that I would. Unfortunately, Choice Hotels, sent me nothing and it appears that they no longer seem to care about receiving any reviews. My guess is that Choice Hotel's primary focus in only collecting the franchise fee from their properties and in collection revenue from every room that is booked on their site. ||||Next year, I will definately stay at the Frederick Red Horse Inn again, but I will try a Wyndham propery near Emporia, Virginia/Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, No frills & adequate is fine, but substandard is unacceptable. I am sorry, Choice Hotels, you have forced me to look to your competition..
âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ âRock-Solid Comfort with a Hometown Feel!â Adelayda was the best front desk help Iâve ever dealt with! If youâre passing through Frederick or in town for business like I was, the Comfort Inn Red Horse delivers the kind of consistent quality and low-hassle experience that busy travelers rely on. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was greeted with warm professionalismâcheck-in was lightning fast, and the staff showed true local hospitality, not the phony kind. My room? Clean, cool, and surprisingly quiet. The bed was firm without being stiff (big win), and the blackout curtains worked overtimeâcritical after long days on the road. Fast Wi-Fi, plenty of charging ports, and strong water pressure sealed the deal. Breakfast in the morning hit all the right notesâwaffles, eggs, and real coffee that didnât taste like it was brewed through a gym sock. Plenty of parking too, which matters more than people realize. This isnât just a pit stopâitâs a reliable operational base when youâre working or adventuring in western Maryland. Practical, efficient, and refreshingly well-run. Five stars, no hesitation.
The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Very close to downtown Frederick making it easy to get in and out of town. We came for the Highwheel Race and had a wonderful time The breakfast was fine, a good selection of options depending on your likes. We would stay there again.
The hotel is dated. The elevator is so small it's difficult to get the luggage carrier in. The breakfast is in the basement and you almost need a map to find it. The rug in our room was stained and disgusting looking. The staff was okay, friendly, although the agent who booked us in kept yawning and looked bored. A cheerful desk attendant is one of a hotel's greatest assets.
Econo Lodge Princess Anne is a hotel.
