Was referred to Newbank Dental for a wisdom tooth extraction from my regular dentist. Can't fault the service at all. I was in and out within 5 minutes. Dentist was friendly and kindly allowed me to listen to my headphones whilst he worked, but was finished so quickly I didn't even get through a single song! Excellent service from all staff at the practice.

They're putting a lot of effort into improving this dentist both inside and out and you can tell that they're investing into the practice. Staff so far have been really nice and the dentist seems thorough and diligent. It's lovely that they offer adult NHS services as well considering the state of the country and government currently. Only negative is the lack of parking nearby and the fact that the roads surrounding the dentist become very busy at school start and finish times.

I’ve had two or three appointments and decided to never come back. The dentist I’ve had did not understand that as a neurodivergent person I am terrified of dentists and please believe me I did say it on number of occasions. He did not care. He never explains what he is about to do, he would give me numbing injection and not wait for it to work and start drilling straight away causing pain. Three teeth’s he done are still uncomfortable especially my front tooth and the filling is chipping away. His assistant on one occasion decided to be a grumpy person and there fit left and right about the fact she had to do her job like a 5 year old in a playground which did add to the stress. I am now going elsewhere privately in hope the filling he done can be fixed . Hopefully new dentist will have better approach and more kind approach towards someone who is simply scared.

We recently had an appointment at this practice and were deeply disappointed by the behavior of the staff, particularly the receptionist (wearing a COVID mask). Upon our arrival, she did not acknowledge us when we greeted her and responded with an unnecessarily rude tone throughout our interaction. I am uncertain if she is new to the role, but it is evident that she would benefit greatly from training in professionalism and basic courtesy. Politeness and a positive demeanor are essential in a healthcare setting, as they significantly impact the patient experience. The lack of a welcoming and respectful attitude not only undermines the reputation of the practice but also creates a negative environment for patients. I urge the management to address this issue promptly, as it could have lasting implications for both customer satisfaction and the overall success of the practice.
