Georgia KukoskiWellborn + Wright installed reclaimed hardwood floor in our river home in the Northern Neck in 2014. To us the floor was one of the most important features of the home. We wanted a floor that had depth and richness. Wellborn + Wright did not disappoint. the floor has lots of character and variation--just what we wanted! Now almost 10 years after the floor was installed and finished it looks just as amazing as it did at install. We use this house a lot and have large crowds of family and friends who often have wet, sandy feet. Guests often comment on the floor and I always give the Wellborn + Wright team all the credit. The attached photos were taken in 2024 from two different areas of the home.
Lauren TaylorI had an absolutely horrible experience with this company for the flooring in my home. We chose this company on the recommendation of our interior designer and this has been a decision we have regretted ever since. After installation, a rep from W+W sent us a birds eye view photo of the floors and said everything looked good. They then covered up the floors with foam to protect them during the rest of our renovation. A couple of days later, my husband peeled back part of the foam to inspect the floors with our contractors. The boards were horribly uneven and also had numerous spots where they were damaged from nails or hammers as part of the install. We counted nearly 100 sites of damage in all. To make matters worse, the company, all the way up to the company president, was an absolute nightmare to deal with to try to rectify this. We eventually had to get an independent inspector to come who determined that there were major problems with not only the install but how the floor was milled. This delayed our project by well over a month. Even after the inspector's evaluation they kept trying to blame us for having unrealistic expectations about the floors. This company is absolutely terrible and some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would NEVER recommend their flooring to anyone.
