I have a terrible experience working with Randy Romano who was representing a landlord renting out a unit. I had been in talks with the landlord for multiple days being fully transparent about my situation and my proposed lease term. The landlord eventually agreed to the lease term - I paid for the application fee and got approved immediately. I was told the lease was being prepared on Friday and that I can do another inspection of the unit before signing the lease. Then all of a sudden the next Monday they told me the unit has been rented to someone else who moved in over the weekend. I had already turned down other places I was talking to because I thought we had a deal, and all I got was super unprofessional behavior from Randy and the landlord, hiding critical information from me and secretly continued looking for "better" tenants after we've had written agreements. What they did was nothing illegal but very questionable morally and professional. Landlord can choose to move forward with whoever they like, but not multiple applicants at the same time and promising everyone they have a lease to sign. The fact that Randy encouraged such behavior is completely unacceptable and reflects pourly on the management and training of this real estate agency. Looks like other people had similar experiences from other reviews so this is a consistent theme and I recommend everyone to avoid working with any agents from dreamtown.

It was so great working with Lauren on the purchase of our first home! Lauren walked us through every part of the process and I never felt like I didn't know next steps. I really appreciated Lauren's expertise when it came to making a smart investment for our future. She was extremely knowledgable about all of the parts of the contract and helped us put in offers that would make us strong contenders. I would highly recommend working with the Green Group for your next home purchase!

How incredibly unethical it was of you and your company to string us along like this and then to tell us at the last minute that you found another tenant. Its actions like yours and the companies that make people loose trust in each other and in American life. You put us in a terrible position apparently without blinking an eye. How would you feel if somebody did this to one of you? Or to someone you care about? I don't have much hope that the you will change your practices but you do need to know that you lacked of accountability and integrity today.

I've never written a poor review for a company because I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and assume positive intention. However, there comes a point where something must be said to warn other people. I worked with Allyson Hohman with Dream Town and things started off really great - she suggested another unit to me during our first tour, and I was really excited about it. Things went downhill from there. Allyson was almost 45 minutes late to that second showing that we had, which I tried to be understanding about because mistakes in scheduling happen. But, during the tour, Allyson was short and rude about some questions I asked. I tried to brush it off, but the rudeness continued over email with clarification questions I'd ask. When signing a legal document like a lease, it's imperative that all of the information in the lease is correct, and Allyson acted like I could not be more annoying when I pointed out the changes that needed to be made (even the dates of the lease were wildly incorrect - basic stuff that should have been caught if she had even briefly reviewed the document before she sent it to me). Beyond rudeness, Allyson gave me blatantly incorrect information - telling me that there was a dishwasher in the unit that did not and does not have one (I live here now, it's not like they installed one in between the tour and me signing the lease), and was insistent when I pointed this out that I was incorrect, and that there was, in fact, a dishwasher. She told me that cable and wifi was bundled and included in a flat fee, saying this "has been said a few times." As I was in the process of setting up my wifi after moving in, low and behold, the building and landlord said that is incorrect and I now have have to pay out of pocket on top of the fee I pay for cable. She was rude, incompetent, misinformed, and incapable. I understand real estate agents have a job and not everyone is going to be a cup of sunshine, but when the incompetence and misinformation is resulting in me paying extra money, it's unacceptable. And even after she kicked my questions over to another agent, they never sent my lease to the new building until I followed back up with them because the building had no idea a move was happening into my unit. This has wasted so much of my time and energy. I will never ever recommend Dream Town to anyone. It's just not worth the stress and hassle that they created for me. And it has now not just been limited to the leasing process, but the incompetency is bleeding into my tenancy in the building. Allyson Hohman and Noam Osher (who she referred me to when she was providing incorrect information and who she told me to reach out to when I brought my concerns about wifi up to her) have been unresponsive regarding the mistakes they have made and the money they have cost me. I'd give zero stars if I could. Moving is already a stressful process, so save yourself the added stress and avoid Dream Town.
