She teaches structure that helps create obedience and "a good dog" while still having love & compassion. Extremely knowledgeable, works great with helping people understand and execute the best methods for training their dogs. I adopted Nick the day before he was going to be euthanized. Because of the way we connected I knew that he would become a great Service Dog.It was important to me that he would be certified and I wanted to have the best dog trainer. I called Dog 2 Dog and spoke with Darcy.I was impressed by her experience and put her at the top of my list.After meeting with a few trainers I decided to call Darcy again and set up an appointment.Her knowledge of dogs phycology,years of experience and her unwavering commitment to create the perfect partnership between the dog and the handler was what helped me choose her as our trainer. Training Nick was not easy,he had a lot of bad habits, however Darcy never gave up.She worked with us relentlessly and believed in us. Nick and I graduated on December 14, 2024.
