Customer experiences
Service is incredibly awesome. The food was pretty good. I was surprised with the Pretzel cheese fondue. It was a good amount of pretzels and the cheese just go so good with it. Katsu sandwich was awesome I really like it! But the Mongolian short rib was a small portion. we were a little disappointed with that. The live music was so nice too! Overall it’s a good place for a date night.
I had a great time on the rooftop. Very chill, the breeze was amazing. The service was awesome. We had a few issues with our food temperature but the manager immediately rectified the issues. The pigs in the blankets were so good! The drinks were flavorful. I would recommend and revisit when I am back in the downtown area.
Culinary Dropout is a vibrant and stylish destination that effortlessly blends a laid-back atmosphere with elevated brunch offerings. I initially discovered this spot through a rooftop workout class hosted on-site, and what began as a fitness morning quickly turned into a delightful brunch experience I’ll be repeating. I ordered the ham and egg grilled cheese, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich was thoughtfully crafted—fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly light given its hearty ingredients. It struck the perfect balance of savory without feeling overly indulgent. To complement the meal, I opted for the frozen Paloma, which was equally impressive. It was crisp, well-balanced, and refreshingly cool—an ideal pairing for a sunny post-workout brunch. Beyond the food and drink, the ambiance at Culinary Dropout is worth noting. The decor is clean, modern, and chic, with subtle industrial touches that give it a trendy, inviting vibe. Whether you’re there to unwind with friends or treat yourself after a workout, the space feels both energizing and comfortable. Overall, Culinary Dropout offers a unique blend of wellness and indulgence. It’s the kind of place where you can sweat it out on the rooftop, then reward yourself with a flavorful meal and refreshing drink—all without missing a beat. Highly recommend for weekend plans or casual daytime outings.
Went for happy hour and were told our 17 year old could sit in the bar area with us. Not entirely true, but they did allow us to sit at a high top and honored the happy hour menu. Our server was great and drinks and apps were delicious. Cannot wait to return. Also, super nice security guard told us we could park at other businesses after 5 pm, even if they were marked.
