Hiring Designed & Detailed and getting to work with Erin as our Lead Planner was by far and away the BEST decision we made for our wedding and the biggest contributing factor to what made it such a success! From initial conversations with Alison, to over a year and a half of planning with Erin, and wedding day assistance from Cydnei, the entire D&D team were absolute rockstars and the best possible support system as we navigated this journey. Through every big contract, small detail, and millions of questions in between, Erin was always incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, professional, patient, and kind. We always had complete confidence that she would never steer us wrong and being able to have that trust in her and having her deliver time and time again was truly invaluable. In addition to all of her expertise and organizational skills, Erin’s joyful and calming demeanor kept a very stressful process as seamless and relaxed as it could be and we were so excited on the wedding weekend when our family and friends got to meet her firsthand and sing her praises as well. SOOOO many great things to say about Erin. She was very responsive & helpful, which are the main requirements you would want from a wedding planner. But there are many ways in which she went above & beyond those requirements, examples below: - Erin had a very calming energy, while also being firm when she needed to be--this was absolutely the right balance that we needed to keep us grounded. - Small, but needed - - she gave us gentle nudges when we missed an email or two needing our response, making sure nothing got dropped leading up to the wedding! - She managed all comms with our vendors at least a month out, which helped keep us sane, so we could focus on other items. - She was very organized & joined as many meetings as she could with our other vendors--she kept note of items discussed & made sure they aligned with our timelines. - We really did let go of the planning on the day of, a "trust fall" if you will, and let Erin & the other vendors take the reins. I'm so glad we did, since they did such a fantastic job and we could finally just enjoy ourselves & spend time with friends & family. - POST-wedding, when something went wrong with one of our vendors, she helped guide us on tracking down the right resolution. Would not hesitate to use Designed & Detailed, they were wonderful to work with!
