We had a wonderful experience working with the Design Shop to upgrade two family rooms. The process is very collaborative, and the designers provide a great balance of respecting the client's tastes, while making their own suggestions that the client might not have thought of but which end up looking great. The process worked very well for us, starting with us providing initial 'inspiration' pictures, then the designers responding with 'mood boards,' then mutually honing in on specific pieces, and approving the final design. Then when the pieces were installed, the designers added the final flourishes of cushions, vases, books etc to make it all come together and look gorgeous (you can keep what you like and they'll take back the rest). One thing I appreciated was the non-judgmentalism of the designers; I was frankly intimidated to work with formal designers but the Design Shop is friendly and approachable and meets you where you are in terms of style and budget. Really enjoyed working with Annetta, Jailine, Ashlee, and Jada and extremely happy with how the rooms came out - elegant yet homey.

Kylene and Taylor were very knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, and understanding of our goals as we honed in on the scope/budget of our project. Kylene provided a wealth of design details/options ranging in price. At no time did we feel any pressure. She was great at listening to our wants, understanding our limitations, and offering sound advice to achieve our goals. Additionally, she was instrumental in ensuring our agreed-upon plan was executed effectively by the subcontractors. I had no idea how important this aspect was, and am extremely grateful for her respectful tenacity. The investment in using The Shop’s design services was well worth it!

Design Shop Interiors is fabulous!!!! I initially hired Leyla for a two hour consultation to discuss my kitchen remodel plans. She looked at my entire house, listened to my ideas, desires and budget and worked from there. She provided wonderful design guidance, explained how to approach the project and recommended tradespeople. I couldn't believe how much she accomplished in two hours!!! Not only did I receive the assistance I needed for my kitchen remodel, she gave me great suggestions for other areas of the house. I learned a lot in two hours! I was able to take that guidance and get the remodel I wanted! As the kitchen neared completion, I again contacted Leyla for help with the family room. She suggested I work with Ashlee. What a perfect match Ashlee was for me!!! I already loved Ashlee's work and she is just wonderful to work with. Her design captured just the feel I wanted. She was respectful of my budget and gave me alternatives when needed. She was patient with me when I was unsure of a selection - but she was always right! Her work is magical! I couldn't be more pleased with how the room turned out!!!

Design Shop Interiors did an incredible job decorating my home. Ashlee Berry was so easy to work with and she really listened to our design needs. I love how she interpreted our style! Each room is literally perfect. I will definitely use DSI again in the future.
