We’ve been taking all three of our kids to Deschutes Pediatric Dentistry from the beginning of their dental care and we’re so happy to have found the right office for our family right off the bat. All of the doctors are wonderful and have helped us navigate some really tough dental procedures, from fillings to crowns and extractions. Additionally, Heather, their resident expert on pediatric myofunctional disorders, has helped us immeasurably with correcting issues like mouth breathing, alignment, improper tongue resting posture and spacing, all without orthodontics! We love working with Heather and seeing all the progress we’ve made - she has made potentially overwhelming oral problems totally manageable, affordable and easy to navigate. Love her!

She was organized, professional, and very understanding of our needs, ensuring the appointment was set up without any hassle. When it came time for the procedure, Dr. Swan was absolutely wonderful. She communicates with patience and kindness, knowing what his sensitivities are, and coming up with ways to help him feel empowered and comfortable. In essence, she teams with him, instead of working on him. She has deliberately built a trusting relationship over time with him, always remembering what his interests are, what they talked about last time, and showing interest in what he is into that day.
