Derek and his team at capital mortgages were great to work with. As a first time home buyer who doesn't have experience with mortgages it was nice to have their expertise helping me and my partner make the right decisions with regards to a mortgage. It really felt like we were prioritized throughout the whole process of buying a home. A few notable things that made my experience a good one: 1. They were very knowledgeable - I had a lot of questions which were answered promptly and professionally. As a first time home buyer I wanted to understand the process and the implications of each step/decision. 2. I never felt pressured by Derek or his team into making a decision that I was not comfortable with. They obviously offered recommendations based on the research they did and the market trend data they have access to but these were not forced on us as the only options. 3. They were very responsive. If I had a question, I could email them and get a quick response or call them and get an answer immediately. Derek and his team came highly recommended to us. I can definitely say that they lived up to our expectations.
