I had a horrible experience here with Dr Shahbaz. He was very dismissive of my pain which was an outcome of the unnecessary nonemergent dental work which he forced upon me when I went for routine dental cleaning with no symptoms and made me undergo filling in 6 teeth in one sitting without even properly explaining, just saying its preventative and not alerting me that if gone wrong or done incorrectly could end up in root canal surgery. When I asked about insurance coverage, he shrugged me off saying I should know better as I am also from health care profession. He seemed very mean, bitter and spiteful, which to this day I dont understand why. I ended up with the nightmare of severe excruciating nonremitting pain in my teeth after getting the extensive fillings, which he didnt even do himself, nor did he inform me that someone else will be doing it. I have had severe pain ever since the fillings esp worse in the canine and the adjacent teeth, that has lasted since August till now in November and still persistent. He was not even sorry or apologetic for what he made me go through from being totally asymptomatic to end being unable to eat solid food or drink coffee/tea. And when I expressed my pain and frustration to Dr Shahbaz over what happened, he didn’t seem to care, rather got angry and rude and said we are not going to talk about this and that my pain is abnormal and asked why am I scared about getting root canal surgery. Why shouldnt I be scared when I ended up with this from being completly asymptomatic? He didnt even examine me properly and was reluctant to even get an x ray when I asked. He referred me to an endodontist to evaluate for root canal surgery, which I helplessly asked him to help expediate as I could not stand the severe pain. I have not been able to eat solid food or tolerate tea/coffee without experiencing severe pain, and hence have stayed on smoothies and pureed diet for the past 4 months. When I told him all that after I called him for follow up, he acted aloof, was least concerned or affected, rather became rude and hostile and he hung up the phone on me, which I will never forget. He has no true care or compassion for the patients. It’s all fake whatever he portrays, money is all he cares about, no morals. I wish I knew better and had never trusted him. I used to come to this clinic back in the day when Dr Duckett was here (who is now retired and was a very kind, caring and compassionate doctor who truly cared about his patients and was not money hungry). After Dr Duckett retired and the practise changed, I wish I should have gotten another dentist and never come here. I would not suggest Dr Shahbaz even to my worst enemy.

Great dental office. The staff are lovely and have good energy. They were able to get me my tooth for my root canal done in a short turn around before my trip. The doctor is cool too and very kind. He is my favorite dentist so far and I don’t even like dentist. Side note: They need to give Denaye a raise because she be doing a lot and helping everyone and is nice.

First dentist office I've been to we're I actually felt comfortable, and that's saying alot for someone with bad anxiety, all of the staff are very caring and attentive, will definitely be coming back here for all my appointments from here on!! ☺️ Ladies have done all they can to make sure all my experiences here have been smooth sailing 👌🏻
