Afternoon Special Mini Meals 3-6pm is so affordable. It is even lower price than food court. The meal comes with free hot drink is about $12-14 on average but good enough to feed you including rice, noodle and burger with fries as afternoon tea menu and even for me as late lunch meal. The noodle ordered is regular size for about $17. Special thanks the waiter "Fai" for his extraordinary service with natural smile which is hard to have this service attitude and passion in the city nowadays. Hope all waiter and waitress of every restaurant in our city like "Fai" does a little more to serve us as a customer wanting a time to be more relaxed and happy in dinning any restaurant. I and our family will definitely visit your restaurant more if you serve any customer like "Fai". Though food quality is important, service will be even more critical to decide if we are willing to choose the restaurant.

I recently ate at the Fraser street location and had a good experience. My honger friends and I usually frequent the other Deer Garden Signature in Richmond. Since we were in the heart of little India, we decided to give this location a shot. Starting at $17.95 you choose your soup, toppings, noodles, and drink. The laksa broth is my favorite so far. I went with what I knew would suit me. The spicy peanut broth is also very delicious. Service is very fast and efficient here. Parking is a bit tight. Apparently it use to be free parking on the street. Now the city of Vancouver installed parking meters. And there's a ton of smokers out front lol.

I haven't been back to Deer Garden in maybe over 5 years. I went for lunch with my family, and everything tasted how I imagined it. The food was still very delicious, exactly how I remembered it. I always have to pack my food because of the big portions, but no complaints here because I get a second meal! I always order the soup where you can choose what you'd like. I chose the peanut chili soup, and it tastes like comfort. We also ordered the side fish fillet, chicken wings, and fish skin. It pairs well with the soup. We also ordered the Curry beef brisket with rice. The beef brisket is so tender and the sauce is perfect. They don't take reservations, so it's a first come first serve basis. Luckily we got a table right away!
