Just had my taxes done with Betty U. She was very nice and thorough. The environment was pleasant too. I didn't get the name of the receptionist but she was also very nice and helpful to myself and other people. Definitely going back next year!

0 rating!!!!! Never in all my years! I just left that location in disgust! I simply stated that there was a language barrier with myself and the accountant responsible for my file. She had a very thick South American/Central American accent and understanding her was very difficult for me. I was approached by the "District Manager" in an aggressive manner, smirking and making repeated comments insinuating I was being racist and bigoted. She literally told me that we all needed to be "accommodating" to people of different races etc. In what world does politely stating you don't understand due to a language barrier deemed racist or phobic in any way. I became justifiably upset as I was not having that put on me. She then repeatedly demanded I leave when I defended myself from her verbal attacks. I told her I was waiting for my paperwork and wanted to leave! She then made a scene in the front lobby, where 3 people of colour were waiting. To say this was humiliating and wrong in every way would be an understatement! She also refused to provide me with her last name or a business card. When asked she smiled and said my name is Jessica....and you can do what ever you want with that information. Lady? I wanted to know your name because we were engaged in a conversation and you were demeaning me in front of 6 different people insulating I was a racist and aggressive, which I was neither. This is what happens in 2025 when you simply state the obvious and you happen to be male and caucasian. I bet if I had been someone of colour? I would have been treated with dignity and respect. Just like the people you sp blatantly put a show on for. Your treatment of me was deplorable, unfair, biased and unwarranted. Oh. And thank you Nancy. I asked for your help and you abruptly said "I didn't see or hear anything." Your EXACT WORDS! Funny, because you looked very uncomfortable considering you claimed to have witnessed "nothing". Is this how you all do business? You use false accusations of racism and misandry to bully white, male patrons? Because that's what I was! You all did my taxes last year. I will be obtaining legal advice, as this blatant attempt at slander and defamation of my character will not go unanswered. Shameful

Was there on Monday to get taxes done and was there for an hour and my taxes hadnt gotten finished.. was told I will get a call. It is now Friday and I keep getting the run around every time I call and ask.. this is extremely frustrating as this has been my go to H&R block location for years. Very poor customer service..
