Beware ! Dayton Freight "Does not care about your freight" ! We have had ongoing delivery issues: #1. They strapped our freight sideways to the truck, #2. Another time they stacked 700 lbs pallets on top of each other crushing our product. We complained to the driver who defers to the dock workers. I filed complaint at the office with Supervisor who will not take action. Dayton Freight is only interested in maximizing space in their trucks to maximize profit. Our deliveries were damaged. Beware if considering to use Dayton Freight !! Additional Poor Service: Nov 19th 2024: Today we had a scheduled Delivery and only 1 of 3 pieces showed up & was damanged. The Driver said she just never checked her truck this morning. Called in to report missing 520 lbs pallet, and they have no idea where it could be located. I called to Greenwood Office, and told maybe we could just re-order the product vs waiting on Dayton Freight to Locate.

i’d give ZERO stars if i could. my item was delivered completely damaged. delivery driver saw it. now it is totally on me to file a claim, reorder and pay for my new item while waiting for them to approve a claim. complete BS. i shouldn’t have to do a thing since they broke my item. do not use- go through amazon. if they mess up, it’s on them.

Dayton does nothing to protect their drivers from harassment and intimidation, both internally and externally, instead electing to just fire them to save face. You won't ever see a union shop do this.
