Steve HThis was the first time to use Dayton Freight so I was new to how the process worked. On Wednesday I received a call from Lori to let me know that my items had arrived. During the conversation I became aware that I would need something like a forklift to get the large item from the driveway to my house. By the time I had located something that I thought might work it was Thursday and too late to get in on that days truck, so we planned for Friday there was an issue where the truck with the back lift was not use and created a delay until Monday. Still a little disappointed from not getting it on Friday, I wasn’t for sure what to expect, I called Lori again. She informed me that Brian the regular driver that route had it on his truck and that he had a back lift and even had Brian call me and give me an approximate time of his arrive. He had finished early and called back on told me he was just a finished and was in route to me. So I had what I thought would be transporting the item to my house, Brian took that 70 plus foot vechile and backed it into like it was nothing all the way to where I needed it unloaded just where I needed it. He went above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Brian and Lori for making this possible.

Chris P KremeI had a poor experience with this company. Received a call on Monday that my shipment was in and they wanted to arrange delivery. I called back on Wednesday to confirm Friday delivery. It never arrived on Friday, so I called near the end of the day Friday to see if they were still coming. Was told, there was a mix up and my shipment was scheduled to be returned, however, they'd intercept it and would deliver it Monday. Called on Monday again as it never arrived. Was then told they returned my shipment. I don't recommend.
Sherry MDayton Freight has been delivering to our warehouse for many years. The level of professionalism and friendliness of their employees is step ahead of other companies. The terminal manager, James, in Bowling Green, is also very helpful with any questions I have. I would definitely recommend using Dayton Freight.
