Really, really excellent customer service. Everyone there is very friendly. It was also easier to get what I wanted than I’ve experienced at some other places. I noticed every once in a while, at some barbers they kind of just know one cut, but I was able to get a simple scissor cut without having to pilot the whole haircut. Word to the wise: book ahead of time, it does get pretty busy.

Good people, good vibes. This was my first time getting a haircut from Crowsnest, and I have to say that it will probably become a future place to get it done. Had my haircut done by Chris who I had a very pleasant conversation with. It was worth the wait as well. Chris is very particular about the way he cuts hair, and almost seems like he's looking for precision which I can really appreciate. Haircutting for him seems like an art form. I am very pleased with the haircut, the ambience of Crowsnest, and just the general feel of the atmosphere and people. They feel very accepting of regulars and newcomers alike. Will definitely be back.

by far the best haircut & experience in DT. They’re very passionate about their work, which is a rare find these days. The place is very artistic and has lot of character to it unlike the boring minimalist shops across town and if it’s your first time in there, you’re in for a fun ride too

A perfectly serviceable barbershop. I've been to the Andorre House location often (which I still prefer), but this was my first time at the Kensington location. The vibe is like if you took Suicide Girls circa 2008 and a frat house, you'd get Crows Nest Barbershop: where every barber has a tattoo arm sleeve with at least one koi fish, handlebar moustaches, and trucker hats. There's a mini fridge with monster energy drinks, and a mini basketball net above the garbage can. $45 after tax, before tip, for a 25 minute haircut.
