Customer experiences
Rooms are clean and well set up, location is convenient and seems safe, other guests are polite. Front desk is rude and will keep you waiting while they shuffle papers and walk around and then overcharge you where they can. Probably better to reserve on the website to know pricing and policies.
The hotel is normally very pleasant. On my last visit the guy in the room next door was selling something so it was constant traffic and door knocking all night. The guy that checked us in was pleasant and kind. But the morning bitxh was the extra rude at the front desk. We will no stay again due to the people they let work the front desk with no common courtesy or customer service
Was reading reviews about this place as I was looking for a hotel room under 100 bucks..first review was ok, second review stated it had bugs, was abit discouraged..so I continued reading and there was enough of reviews which made me feel better..as I’m getting off the highway I noticed tall tress and grass and said to myself if this hotel is close to this exit there’s going to be bugs..I got off the exit, mile or two down was the hotel. From the outside it looked decent and had neighboring eatery's..so I went to Walgreens then the drive through at dunking donuts. I asked for a sweet pepper bacon eggs sandwhich and ordered two of them..I got to the hotel and explained to the staff which was friendly and explained I seen reviews with bugs mention. He told me check the room and make sure you are ok with it. Yhea that’s cool..I check the room 211 it smelled good was clean everything was in order..I pulled the sheets back and checked for bed bugs, no sign of them.this is going great..as I left the room I notice the back yard was woodsy..I came back to the late night desk and said everything is cool I’m ready to get room..as he was setting me up I swiped my card in these vending machines for a coke and snacks. Neither seemed to work..I paid for the room grabbed my stuff out the van and went to the room. I layed on the bed and ate my two Dunkin’ sandwiches I ordered..I turned the tv on for a second then decided to turn it off after I ate..I fell asleep. Woke up at 6am to an alarm clock I didn’t set. I jumped up like what’s going on grabbed the clock and tried to rip the cord to shut it off..as I shut it off a huge water bug ran from under the pillow I was resting my head. I swung at it with the Alarm clock to no luck…I tried not to freak out so I kept the lights on and slept lightly. Got a phone call about 9am I had an work order so I got a chance to leave early.. the shower which is something I look forward too was actually good not bad at all..after the shower I grabbed my things went to the front desk and explained to them what happen..I didn’t make a big deal about it..jus my experience. Try for urself
This is a very good hotel, I went there 4 months ago but I’m writing the review today, but anyways, it looked like a motel, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, it was amazing. We only stayed there for 1 night. Next day, we didn’t have breakfast, because we had our own breakfast before dawn time. Next day, we left. So if you wanna look for a hotel in Laurel-Bowie, MD, Red Roof Inn is calling your name.
