My wife has been going to this salon for almost 15 years and always gets the exact same color and simple flower design on her big toenails. She had a terrible experience recently and will not be returning. She called ahead to ask if she could come 15 minutes later due to our kids’ activity running over. They told her she couldn’t come late because they were fully booked—so she rushed over. Once there, no other customer showed up during the entire 2 hours she was there. During the pedicure, she politely asked the technician to remove more dead skin from her heel, showing her the area that still needed work. The response she got was that she needs to come for pedicures more often—despite having one just last month. Instead of addressing the concern, the technician was dismissive and unhelpful. Then came the nail design. She asked three times for the technician to look at a photo of the simple flower design she always gets, but the tech refused and went ahead anyway. The design was wrong and didn’t even match between the two big toes. When she said it wasn’t what she asked for, the technician offered to redo it—scraped it off, added another coat of polish (which made the big toenail a noticeably darker shade than the rest), and redid the design… still incorrectly. She was in a rush to pick up our kids, so she paid quickly and tipped, even though she wasn’t happy with it. Once in the car, she realized she had been overcharged by over $20. She went back in to ask, and was told—without any prior notice—that the design price had gone up from $10 to $25, that she was charged extra because the technician redid the design, and also because “a lot of powder gel” was used. For a simple five-petal flower with two leaves, that price jump makes no sense. No one had told her about any price increase or additional charges in advance. They refused to refund her or adjust the price, and the staff were rude and dismissive. After 15 years of loyalty, she left upset and disappointed. She used to love coming here, but unfortunately, this experience was enough to walk away for good. Not recommended.
