Disappointed! After several acceptable stays at this property we are quite disappointed at several things that added up to this negative review. ||We walked into a cold room, with the thermostat reading 64 degrees....not exactly a warm welcome! ||We needed to charge both of our phones. Oops. Only one working charger bedside. ||The bathroom was terribly designed. The floor to the shower and to the bathroom itself got terribly slippery when even slightly damp. Really scary for me!!! Then, the placement of the various fundamentals was strange and incompetent. To turn on the shower one had to walk to the end of the stall and take a chance that the water temp and the power would not be too powerful or too hot or cold. There was no possible way to test them from even a slight distance. The soap and shampoo were at the opposite end of the stall necessitating walking from one end to another.....not a monumental hike but annoying enough, especially with the slippery floor. These cleaning supplies were naturally along the wall and a tight push to retrieve the soap or shampoo. Tricky when you're old and wet and fearful of falling!||The toilet tissue was placed slightly too far from the seat itself. Sorry to be so graphic but that's the situation. One had to think ahead to be prepared. That tissue, if unrolled a little too far, would roll right into the trash can. Pretty gross.||There was a serious stain on one side of the bed, not generated by us, but it needed to be cleaned!||The TV controller was very far from intuitive and the volume on it made a disturbing clicking noise so if one were falling asleep one would find it annoying. I know because it happened to me!||Then there was the breakfast! Our previous stay we had earned a free breakfast. I don't know how, but it did not have a time limit so we brought it to the front desk where we were told it had expired. How? He didn't know and neither did we. Finally we were allowed to use it which we did to order one bagel and two English muffins. We were the only ones eating breakfast in the entire hotel at 8 a.m. Prices were more five star than 2 or 3. Exorbitant.||The hotel was very quiet and seemed far from filled. I wonder if others are getting the word that this hotel will not satisfy!

The front desk staff was kind and accommodating. When I asked to be moved from a room directly next to the elevator (literally shared a wall), they quickly found me a quieter option. The location is also great, with plenty of food and shopping nearby. But beyond that, my experience was disappointing. The room clearly hadn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. There were stains on the wall and residue in the bathroom, along with visible drink marks on the bedside table, something that should be wiped between guests. There was also noticeable dust in areas that should be part of routine cleaning. More concerning, I found two different types of bugs in the room. I get that it’s humid in Maryland, but multiple pests in one stay doesn’t inspire confidence. Yes, the price is decent for the area. But I expected more from an IHG hotel, at the very least a standard of basic cleanliness. I ended up wanting to spend as little time in the room as possible. If you’re considering staying here, it might be worth looking at other options.

Stayed here this past weekend with my cousin. It’s a very nice hotel. Front desk specialists were awesome! Very friendly and helpful. I liked the cold water always available for my refills. The keurig in the room was great and the front desk gave me extra pods. The fridge was great but no microwave in the room meant I went down to the common room to heat up my leftovers. Minor. The room was clean and the beds comfy but there were no dressers to unpack and no luggage rack so we put our bags on the ottomans. I’m not sure about the workout equipment in the room but the gym was nice. There are lots of stores and restaurants in walking distance which was great. I’ll stay there again.

The price is decent. Staff were all kind, and I like that ice is available for water bottles. Would have loved a microwave. The in room exercise equipment is sketchy, I personally wouldn’t touch an in-room yoga mat without some sanitizing items around. Location is good, near a Trader Joe’s and very walkable.
