I moved my mother here from Ohio to be closer to me. I looked at many places around the entire Bay Area. Coterie was by far the most impressive facility. It has been 2 years and she and I are extremely pleased. The only downside may be the neighborhood, but for my mother of 95 years old it doesn’t come into play. The residence really have a great time with so much activities at their fingertips. I also like the no down payment. A great perk for us is the staff help get my mother’s long term care policy active which the other home was not helpful at all. I feel blessed.

The Memory Care manager, Christina Gonzalez, and the rest of the staff associated with the daily operations of the Memory Care floor do a great job taking care of all the residents under their care. I greatly appreciate all they do to try and provide the best living experience possible for my mother. Just the other day Christina volunteered to take my mom and a few of the other Memory Care residents to the S.F. opera to see Swan Lake. My mom has always loved going to the opera, but she hadn't gone in a long time because of her declining mental capacity due to Alzheimer's. She gave us a lot of push-back about going, but as I knew she would, she had a great time; and the experience has reinvigorated her into letting us take her out of the Coterie Community to watch/go to other shows and performances that we know she'll enjoy.

Never in my wildest dreams had I imagined living in a place like Coterie. I had thought that perhaps in my 80’s I would consider a senior residence when I could no longer be able to be on my own. Well, after visiting Coterie, interacting with the staff and some of the residents I decided that I could continue my life as it was but much more enriched. Here I feel welcomed, while engaging in the interesting and varied activities and events. It feels like a vacation! The staff is so dedicated to the well being of the residents: always willing to help with anything, always pleasant and loving. I am planning to spend the rest of my life in this amazing environment.

This place is amazing! We were looking a for a place for a very active family member and had been to a few other communities. Coterie truly set itself apart from the competition. Upon entry they valeted our car & had a beautiful Mercedes sitting in the front entrance, ready for all resident's trips. They have a Limo just for residents! We walked in to discover they had a harp player in the lobby setting the perfect ambiance for our entry. Then we were escorted into the 4th floor for our tour, where The Wellness Team spoke to us all about the wide scope of services they offer, along side the senior staff/directors stopped in to offer insights as to why Coterie is unique. A vivacious member from the Engange Life Team showed me how they would keep residents involved & active. To make matters more delicious, light bites with incredible flavors alongside mocktails were being served to all. We've been to a few swanky spots, but this experience has left us blow away. If want your loved ones in good hands, Coterie is the home away from home for you family is looking for.
