Customer experiences
All of my nursing staff, Vicky, Jalen, Matthew, etc were very informative, friendly, accommodating to my abilities, and respectful of my rest and privacy. The doctor staff were also super reassuring. I’ve taken their advice and have quit smoking. First time in 32 years. The whole experience was a positive one. (Aside from the stroke). I appreciate the information and care the whole staff provided from the moment I walked in. Thank you community east!
They take the worse care of there patients They literally keep calling asking me if I want my dad resuscitated and I've told them yes 5 times and signed paper work and since he's old they say he's 67 let him go well he's still talking and Doing things but since he's not got a bunch of money they don't want to spend all there resources on him or there rooms and they don't take care of them unless your there watching them my dad had poo on his hand and head dried up so that tells alot but sure cleaned it up when we said something. So no I don't recommend this place to anyone not even my dog. Update on hospital.. So I guess it depends on every person's situation like mine.I have cancer and the review that I wrote before was on my father in law and he had an infection and it was taking over completely but with my stay and care I was treated with complete care within 20 minutes of being in the ER They came in and told me i had stage 3b lung cancer and started immediately asking what they could do for me and making a plan to treat me and if I missed a visit they would hunt me down lol to make sure I got my treatment because they cared and wanted me to be cured and now that I'm done with treatment I know how kind they are the whole time the cancer center in east community is top notch everyone is nice and caring and always asking how you are and makes sure you are taken care of . So as i said it just depends but I've changed my opinion about this hospital maybe it's just what place you end up in but they did me right.
The ER was pretty crazy but the nurses at the desk were still kind! The flex nurses I had (Connie, Ebony, and Bessie) were all so kind and patient with me. They explained things thoroughly to me.
I went to the emergency room. I I had severe back pain for quite a few months I went into the emergency room they called me back within 8 minutes I was discharged they handed me pain medicine did not take any x-rays I had a girlfriend with me because I thought they're going to give me some pain meds and I need someone to drive when 8 minutes later I was being discharged without them even looking at me the people that we're next in line after me in the emergency room to register we're still registering the first X-Ray when I could get into a doctor I found out I literally broke myself in half I had to have surgery and they removed three vertebraes and three discs and put two steel rods in me. When we were walking out in the parking lot my girlfriend turned and looked at me and said you did not make enough noise they're not going to help you when you are beating as a child if you make one noise you're beating is worse you learn how to keep your mouth shut sorry I grew up in a dramatic way I want a damn lawyer
Community Hospital East is a general hospital.
