April at Steven Cabinets helped us design a built in mudroom bench and cabinet setup. Walked us through a plethora of options and made recommendations based off of utility and long term durability and finish quality. Install was 6 weeks after our initial visit and matches well with the existing materials in our home. Very happy with the result, will be a repeat customer with future projects!

Working with April at Steven Cabinets was a great experience. She listened to our ideas, our constraints, and our style, and was able to create a beautiful high-quality mudroom as well as a built-in double desk for our kids from a totally blank slate. Steven Cabinets was subcontracted through our general contractor as part of a larger basement renovation. As to be expected for almost every renovation project, there are bound to be small hiccups or pivots that come up. Two such hiccups came up in ours between our GC and Steven (paint mismatch due to manufacturer recipe change; and one piece of cabinetry trim that was slightly wrong size). April not only took initiative to correct but went above & beyond with her communication, transparency, and timeliness throughout. We ended the project with much respect for her and her work and would highly recommend Steven Cabinet based on both their product quality but also their integrity, communication, and project management.

I was looking for a company that was local in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area that would build three sets of cabinets to match our original beautiful 1927 Arts & Crafts bungalow kitchen cabinets. Through my long search I eventually met with April at Steven Cabinets and hired her as our kitchen designer. With Aprils knowledge and experience with small kitchens, she helped my husband and I redesign the half of our kitchen that needed new cabinets and countertops. Ideas that we couldn't imagine came to fruition and I felt secure last fall leaving our house key with the builders and staff at Steven Cabinets while my husband and I traveled to Poland for 2.5 months volunteering to teach English. Once they were built, the staff came into the house and fully installed the amazing cabinets while we were away. When I got home, I couldn't have been happier with their work, the attention to detail, and follow up with our dream cabinets. April made sure the hardware, the countertops, scheduling, and oh.so.many other details were always fully in place. The cabinets are beautiful and are built with such high quality products and detail. I would highly recommend working with this ethical company! Note: When you look at the pictures of my kitchen, subway tile backsplashes come next. Can't wait for this vintage, yet modern kitchen to be finished!
