I stayed in the Travelodge Ealing for 5 nights from 5th Jan to 10th Jan as I was down in London doing a course at an Academy close by. Overall a good stay with some niggles which I think need highlighting for management. ||Cons:|The evening I arrived, I was met by a very miserable looking guy (black guy with short dreadlocks) and another guy who didn't really seem to know what he was doing. This created a not-so-good first impression as I asked about an upgrade and what this would cost. Neither seemed particularly interested in upgrading me or even really welcoming me into the building in all honesty. I was told to come back down in the morning when the manager John would be on the desk. As it happens I didn't have the time in the end to even bother with it as I was in and out fairly promptly every day and didn't really have a lot of time to relax there due to it being quite an intense week-long course. The room itself was very basic but good, socket placing is always a bug bear of mine and this was another occasion of poor placement so make sure you take a couple of extension leads ! The plug next to the bed was only a USB plug so had to stretch it from the kettle point to fast charge which was annoying. There are no extras in the bathroom such as little bottles of anything so make sure you pack these. TV was small for a hotel room these days. |Wall heater in room made a piercing noise the whole stay (room 509) but again I didn't really have the time nor could really be bothered to move in the end as was so tired at the end of the day that I slept through it. |Kept having to go to reception to call round to bar area for anything I needed. ||Pros:||Good comfy bed!! Slept well in it so no complaints there. |Kettle point had tea, coffee, sugar & milk. |Food although some of it a bit over-priced was actually really really good! I recommend the tikka masala curry! |I didn't have breakfast there as I was short for time in the mornings so can't comment but I'm sure again, very good. Staff the rest of the week were good but not outstanding in any way. Friendly enough and manager with long curly brown hair very helpful and lovely to speak to on my last day there. ||Overall a good stay for anyone that just needs a base for a stay local to amenities and Ealing Broadway station just a 10 minute walk away. It did the job for me and really I can't complain at £35 a night. Would stay again if the point of the trip being a course or business trip. ||Thankyou guys 😊

I had a wonderful experience within this Travelodge, first of all the service at reception was great, Nadia was so helpful and accommodating with my booking and everything was done with a smile. The room was lovely , clean and spacious which I wasn’t to sure about because the price was so good. I did not eat in the restaurant so I cannot comment on this . Close to a lot of amenities and would highly recommend.

Stayed here for a couple of nights during a rough period and I can’t praise the hotel enough! Great staff made me feel so welcome from the moment I stepped in and the breakfast was exactly what you would hope for. Rooms were clean and for such good prices I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Lovely room - easily accessible and parking on site . The room has everything I needed for a one night stay and very cost effective . Great location shopping centre not far from hotel. ||Bed is comfortable and room was very clean - supplied with tea and coffee facilities along with tv cosy comfortable room. ||John at reception was friendly and helpful nothing was too much - each check in ||Thank you
