As someone visiting Detroit I was staying downtown and Citizen looked like the pick of the studios for what I was after. Intuition turned out to be correct. The studio has a good vibe and the classes I attended were very enjoyable with great instructors. Would recommend

I was in Detroit for a few days and took a drop-in class (Flow + Thai Massage Adjustments with Kimberly Tessmer). It was fantastic! Kimberly was a delightful instructor, the space is nice, and the practice itself was great. I highly recommend it.

I’ve been going to Citizen for years and cannot say enough positive things about this yoga studio and community. The atmosphere is great, teachers are wonderful, parking is easy (they validate parking at the Z deck), and they make everyone feel welcome. I especially love Sitara’s classes :) Highly recommend checking out citizen yoga!
