I was waiting to be called for a scheduled appointment in radiology. I witnessed a male surgeon come to me asking for another man. I said no. Then he went to a Hispanic lady who spoke no English but her friend was in the restroom. He called patients name to her she shook her head and pointed to bathroom. He yelled at her 'first off he was an hour and a half late and I could have cancelled the surgery' and continued going on about it while she pointed to the door. The toilet flushed. He began to walk off saying 'thats your translator' she said yes and he continued to walk off while rudely yelling at this poor girl who truly didn't understand I'll be back later. I get that they were late but there's no need for public humiliation for someone who clearly doesn't understand. Come on RCH do better. It's sad I worked here for so long as a nurse witnessing this on multiple occasions

The staff here are so lovely and friendly. Especially the ones that work the 7pm - 7 am shift. They are SAINTS. Dr.Wong was so helpful, I can’t express enough gratitude. Amazing people/ care all around

Probably the worst hospital in Richmond. The only reason I've gone here is because it's the closest one when I've had an emergency. Half the times I have been I have been misdiagnosed, rushed out, or flat out ignored. They refused to take many of my concerns seriously and I wasted money going to the ER here. Every time my issue was misdiagnosed here I went to another hospital or even an URGENT CARE and got the exact diagnosis. Coming from a family of medical professionals, knowing my history and my body and still being ignored constantly really sticks with me and I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone in the city.

This place is a joke. I was told by Dr.Sunni that there was nothing medically wrong causing my mobility issues ..soI challenged him and the medical director to let me walk in front of them.. but they didn't allow me to try.. they went by a physical therapist and an uncaring BE Smart counselor named.. Melissa. I was sent home and fell and thankfully another hospital ran the correct tests on me.. and was able to find the correct medical reason for my mobility issues. Some of the unprofessional CNA's would make rude comments to me when I told them..I didn't want this rude nurse..Ciarra to work with me.. they told me that I couldn't choose. They really thought I wanted to stay in that horrible place.. with ugly faded windows when I was trying to better. They did a great injustice to me and I hope no one else has to go through what I went through. They kept me in that hospital for 3 months and never found out the correct medical problem that I had. Thankfully, I am getting the correct care and to the wound nurse," You don't tell patients that you are tired of hearing them.." when they are trying to get help. This hospital especially that 2nd floor needs to be investigated ..Eric, you were wrong on what you thought my mobility issues were and I have the receipts to prove it. You all were very condescending,rude and unkind to me. But God revealed the truth and my prayer is that no other patient go through the hell.. you all put me through! Melissa, you pivot and repeat the steps because you all were nowhere near getting me the help I needed. You all played with my life... and none of y'all discharge plans were safe or accurate for what was wrong with me..but you all didn't listen to me nor did you all care
