For any airplane enthusiast, especially WW2 era airplanes, Chilliwack Airport has one of the best airshows you can visit. Would definitely recommend.

I find this airport to be very user-friendly. Gary and his staff have been very accommodating with our air tanker crew. The airport also has a fantastic café.

We went to the 27th Annual Air show and it was an absolute blast! I cannot believe that it's by donation and the runway is packed with spectators. Things to remember to bring Sunscreen Big off Picnic Chairs Sunglasses Camera Binoculars Water And your cheery excited self. Washrooms excellent well positioned. Loved the Happy Panda rides too fun Great to bring families Seating anywhere excellent views no matter where you seat. Pretty clean as we were leaving a few pieces of litter but overall the carry in and you take out the same as you brought in was actually applied. I think there should have been absolute quiet and we all should have sang the national anthem. I also think we should have all been silent when the american anthem. The venues were well laid out and the crowds seemed to be having a great time and no hassles and no policing go figure if this was Vancouver we would have a seat team.. Nice to see we are able to all behave ourselves. Lol. Easy access plenty of parking There is also an transit event bus that can take you from the park and ride. I felt bad for the announcers as you could not hear them. We moved to the east end and were nearest to the speakers. If they had a few more surrounding the strip I think you would get a better response from the spectators. I hope the spectators know how hard a job these volunteers and pilots take to get this organized. More cheering and thank you from the audience should have been louder.

5/5 for service at this airport. I flew in for the Tulip festival in our small Cessna 150. A day in advance I called the operations manager, Bill, who was extremely helpful in giving a briefing for where to park and things to watch out for. Inside the terminal building there's numerous pilot resources that are really useful. My only critique is that I wish there were tie down rings in the transient parking, as I'd be more inclined to tie down and stay a night or two and see more of Chilliwack. If this is something the Chilliwack airport needs help with, I'd be happy to help with the labour! Thanks for taking care of this gem of an airport, it allowed us to support the local Chilliwack businesses.
