Excellent service and truly one of the best gumbos our family has ever had! The owner is a very kind and welcoming man. We had a big weekend with a family wedding, and it meant a lot to have such delicious, consistent food during such a special time. It was my mother’s first time attending a Portuguese wedding—since we’re Brazilian, it was a beautiful and meaningful cultural experience for her. Thank you for helping make this celebration even more memorable for our whole family, especially for my cousin and her husband. We really appreciate the warmth and the quality you bring. My cousin, who is like married to a A list celebrity and, I am blessed to work for her is a high up in our family flew us all in and this was a big weekend for all of us. This place is laid laid-back kinda place. Come here to have a good time and good food. Wait I'm sorry GREAT food. Got talking to some of the other people eating there and they all say the same thing. Great food friendly service. If you joke around with them they dish it right back, of course in a friendly way. Left there with a full bell and honestly some good bread pudding, which I'm or was not a fan of back home but here it's good. We went there on Saturday and couldn't wait for them to open again today on a Tuesday. Amazing place. Saturday is had the chicken and sausage Gumbo and Tuesday I did the jambalaya.

Buddo Hood

Found the cutiest little eatery while passing thru NOLA. The Food was packed with fresh flavors, the service, even for a take out/To Go order, was top notch. Everything was packaged nicely for the take out order. Keep up the great job....everything was delish!!

This place was outstanding! The food was over the top delicious, the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was congenial and welcoming. I can't wait to go back again! The only thing, is that it is a little bit pricey; however, considering the quality and flavor and amount of the food it is well worth it!
