Customer experiences
Great cafe that has a wonderful assortment of pastries and desserts along with sandwiches and huge salads. Plenty of parking and good place to grab a table or take and go. I ended up getting the BLT Salad, Onion Soup, and Banana Cream Cheesecake. The salad was huge and was pretty good with lots of bacon bits and creamy dressing. The French Onion Soup was flavorful with some melted cheese on top. The Banana Cream Cheesecake was excellent! Such a lovely banana flavor that was decadent and so good! Atmosphere was nice and open and the service was friendly!
The atmosphere is very welcoming, great spot to work. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. It was delicious. They have a variety of sandwhich and pastry options as well as a great coffee selection. I tried they toasted almond latte is was also good!
I love the pastries and the caprese panini. The caprese panini is so simple yet so delicious at the same time. It is fresh melted mozzarella, freshly cut basil and sliced tomatoes on a warm ciabatta roll. I get this sandwich all the time and it can be for breakfast or lunch . I also had a honey lavender scone yesterday with a lavender latte and wow- perfect combo. You order at the counter and get a buzzer that beeps when the food is ready . There is indoor and outdoor seating and the staff is always friendly . I love this local cafe and highly recommend when in that part of Cary.
chanticleer: we really like this restaurant for breakfast. There was a steady line when we went in, and there was still a steady line when we left, which is a great indication of how good this restaurant is. The place is pretty open with tables and booths for sitting throughout. The restaurant has lots of pastries and breakfast and lunch meals. We ordered the croissant egg sandwich with a side of bacon and we also ordered the Californian sandwich. I thought the egg sandwich on the croissant was great. So was the Almond croissant which was a little hearty compared to other ones I’ve had that seem lighter. I really enjoyed this one. They also had different types of coffees, including some specialty coffees. I ordered the gingerbread latte and it was really good. It’s like a bakery and a restaurant. The baked goods looked incredible. The layout of the store is pretty simple, but I felt it lacked a little bit of coziness, mainly because the walls were pretty bare. The counter section and displays are great, but it just feels like the decorating of the room could use some extra pictures or something. Overall, we thought this place was great and recommended to others. You can tell there’s a loyal customer base and I’m pretty sure it’s because of the good food and the great customer service.
Chanticleer Cafe & Bakery is a cafe.
