Recently had our third bathroom renovation done by Aqua - we were pleased with their work in our previous house so got them back for the new place. Really like working with David on the design and the guys are all great to have around the house. They did a great job and are really good with any follow ups we've needed. Thoroughly delighted with our dealings Aqua Bathrooms. We had our medium size ensuite refurbished, knowing we had several issues with the original installation many years ago, 1) Design & Feasibly - The Manger & Designer (David) visited us and carried out a site survey and was honest & pleasant and not 'salesy' at all. David agreed & disagreed with several ideas, but he was correct, now we can see the final product and detailing. 2) Entry & Exit Cost - The initial quote was over our budget, so we visited the Show room to seek alternative specifications, but reaching the same visual outcome. Thanks to their openness, we agreed a price near our budget, but with an additional contingency for discovery. 3) On site - Aqua (Darius/Artur) started on the day agreed and have a great system of early morning deliveries (tools & materials) & midday collection of waste & rubbish. From the front door to the ensuite, protection was laid & maintained throughout the works. The daily hoover and spotless clean up and signified the end of the day. Never intrusive, we advised occasionally about a meeting and less noisy work was completed. Top draw on site. 4) Installation - We knew we had hidden issues, but the problems we believed didn't materialise, but several other major issues did (existing plumbing/drainage falls/water ingress at windows & extraction duct) were discovered. Aqua didn't gloss over them, they identified, provided a solution and gave us a cost price to remediate and a option to fix ourselves. We are really appreciative of their honesty. All the new works would have been affected by the discovered faults, they just took on our problem without taking a cost advantage. 5) Quality - The finished article was immaculate and impressive. The design detailing by David combined with Darius & Artur's OCD in the substrate works & then the final finish. We are really delighted with the work and quality achieved. 6) Programme - Aqua advised a 3 week on site period. They actually took 3 weeks and 4 days. Considering that includes the additional change to the ceiling (which was out of sequence & doubled the clearing up), plus new pipework & drainage, removal & re-install of the window (required scaffolding) & installing missing flashings to the window & extract duct. We that in mind, we felt that they over achieved on the actual delivery date. 7) Post Install - On usage we discovered 2 minor issues. One strangely was caused by the way we were cleaning the glass. The second was minor but caused slight damage to a panel. Aqua responded to both issues without hesitation and as soon as the replacement materials were available remedied the faults and with a positive attitude. Excellent. 8) Recommendation - I have been in the construction industry for 40 plus years. The saying that 'you get what you pay for' is never so true when talking about about skilled labour and quality. You will always find a company out there who will be cheaper. I doubt you will find one with such a high standard for Design, Install, Quality, Post sales care, but most of all, accommodating and customer friendly.
