Certified Registered Massage Therapist Association (CRMTA)

Worst customer experience ever. I have been waiting since Sept 9 for my "letter of good standing" (it is now October 2 - my new job starts Oct 20 and I need this letter to get my new association and city license. I have emailed numerous times - unanswered - I have called numerous times - mostly unanswered and when they do answer they say they will message "the person in charge". So disappointed in this association. Now I may not even have a job as an RMT because of this associations lack of care and communication and professionalism. FYI the website says no longer than 5 days to receive this "letter" I would never recommend this association again - they should be shut down for their lack of communication and care for their members - they just want your money and forget about you in my opinion

Have not once had a great experience with CRMTA due to the lack of communication. Emails go unanswered. Phone calls go to voicemail. Voicemails don’t get responded to. If you do luck out and someone picks up the phone they do not transfer you or help you - they take a message for a callback request then promptly do not call you back. I’m not sure if this is due to lack of staffing or just disorganization but it’s the worst experience we’ve had out of any association across Canada as CE providers.

I had applied for a membership at the start of June and was told I’d have my membership by the 10th. It is currently July 3rd and after repeatedly emailing and calling I was told my application was “forgotten”. I’ve had so much time wasted and could have been working as a massage therapist by now.
