After a 20-plus year career and the last 10 years in senior and c-suite brand marketing leadership, I was inspired to consider a career change by one of my own rescue dogs. Hence I enrolled after meeting a few wonderful people on the phone. Enrolling in the CATCH Canine Training Academy was one of the most meaningful and rewarding decisions I've made in my professional journey. The program is exceptionally well designed--deeply educational, thoughtfully structured, and rooted in modern humane training principles. Over the course of my time in the masterclass with CCDT certification, I gained not only technical knowledge and advanced training skills, but a richer understanding of how dogs learn, communicate, and build trust with humans and vice-versa. What sets CATCH apart is the people behind it. From my program director and advisor, Devi, to my mentor in the field, Alex (as well as a few others I had the opportunity to connect with), I was supported by trainers who lead with both expertise and empathy. They were always available when I needed clarification or advice with a case, offered thoughtful feedback, and consistently modeled the kind of gentle leadership that I find defines truly effective dog training. The hands-on workshops, behavior workshops, and personalized mentorship exceeded my expectations and prepared me with real-world confidence. CATCH doesn't just teach you how to train dogs -- it teaches you how to advocate for them, educate their families, and help both move forward in a more rewarding direction. I am proud to be a graduate of the CATCH Masterclass Program and to have earned my CCDT through such a compassionate, reputable, and impactful program. I would highly recommend it to anyone serious about becoming a professional dog trainer.

I recently graduated from the Catch Canine Trainers Academy and have to say that my experience was nothing but positive. They were very accommodating and attentive. The program directors check in often to see if you have any questions and send you supplemental information to bolster your learning. The only thing that would have made the experience better would be if the pup that I used to pass my training evaluation received his own certificate as well. I owe much of my success to him as well! Thank for the amazing experience and I cannot wait to use the knowledge I have gained to help canine parents create a stronger bond with their dogs.

CATCH is a great place to go if you are interested in starting a dog training career using science-based, LIMA (Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive) methods. It is entirely self-paced, which is wonderful if you are working a full time job, moving, or experiencing other life events while learning. I had a very kind mentor who always made time to chat if I had questions and I was paired with a great trainer in my area who I was able to learn a lot from by shadowing his classes. I would definitely recommend CATCH to anyone who wants to learn how to train dogs and understand dog behavior. Thank you!

I graduated from the Master Class Program less than a week ago. I found the CATCH Master Class Program to be very easy to follow and the directors were easy to contact when I had questions. It is an online based program that you can do at your own pace. I was able to complete the Mast Class in just under a year with a hectic schedule. They release only a few Phases at a time which helped me to not get so overwhelmed. In your program, you will receive a binder filled with each Phase's reading content, additional books required for reading during each Phase, a gentle leader and Blue-9 harness, a clicker and treat pouch, and a CATCH polo shirt. Tests are open book and you get plenty of time to complete them, so don't rush. The online student center is easy to navigate and you will find all of your Phase content and videos there. You can set check-ins on a regular basis with your assigned director to go over any questions, comments, or concerns you may have. I would highly recommend this program to anyone that is serious about becoming a dog trainer.
