My friends and I got day passes for the spa and it exceeded expectations from the moment we arrived. They provided electronic wristbands that could lock lockers, pay for drinks etc which was great. The changing rooms were well stocked with lovely products for showering after. The facilities were beautiful and plentiful. Loved the outdoor sauna & hot tub as well as the moody thermal pools in the basement. Wrapped up with a poolside drink at the main pool surrounded by foliage it was just perfect. Girlies approved ✔️

Absolutely amazing. My lovely wife and I went on a Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. there was plenty of curbside parking. Everyone treated us like royalty. Every pool was beautiful. Everything was luxurious. There was plenty of room to do everything. Completely clean. Every body type was there. I didn't feel out of place at all. Best 200 bucks I've spent in a long time. I'll be sure to bring other friends I have here soon. I'll also be giving this place away as a gift for all my friends birthdays etc.

It often feels impossible to see anything truly new in the hotel world. So many spaces are copy-and-paste imitations of each other. Walking into Cascada, it’s different. Every detail feels designed with intention—not borrowed memories, but original ideas created for their purpose, leaving a lasting footprint in your own memory. Minimalist. Brutalist. Organic. With playful little easter eggs only the curious will discover. The building itself will make any design lover smile. I fell in love with the spa—mostly because they’ve achieved the impossible. A sanctuary tucked into the basement, offering the full range of hot and cold pools. The space ebbs and flows with visitors throughout the day, yet it remains silent. Perfectly silent, except for the occasional gentle sound bowl reminding you even whispers should be saved for later. Upstairs, the mood shifts. The upper level feels like a Euro-disco pool party collided with the Dr. Doolittle of plants - in the best possible way. It opens into an outdoor space with concentric softness and light, making you forget you’re just steps away from Pearl Street. If you come for the spa, stay for the rooms. My first thought was simply: let me live here. Any biohacker will delight in the details—lighting designed to support your circadian rhythm, breathable natural-fiber bedding, a single white noise machine on the nightstand, and true blackout curtains. Everything invites deep, restorative sleep. And tying it all together: the staff. Always a hard yes. So many spa hotels leave me wondering if I’m unwanted, if the staff are just tired or burned out. Here, it’s the opposite—energy, kindness, and a genuine love of making magic. If you’ve seen the Bear, you might remember the “yes days”—moments where the impossible is made real, like creating snow in Chicago for a family in mid-summer. I'm pretty sure they made cats appear for this one guy's birthday who really loved cats. Cascada isn’t just a stay—it’s an experience in design, wellness, and joy.
