Had a total knee replacement at Carroll Hospital 8/25/25. Everyone from the front desk to the recovery team were very friendly, respectful, kind, and caring.They made this experience extremely pleasant for me. I always felt i was getting exceptional care. I had someone with me the entire time which made me feel less anxious. I love the staff at Carroll Hospital!

THE worst experience of my life,dealing with the incompetency of the nurses and doctors at this hospital. I was admitted by ambulance in excruciating abdominal pain. My blood pressure was 158>107. I had to wait in the entrance door way along with 4 other patients that were on stretchers for over an hour. Finally was sent in to the ER room with 1/2 the equipment not working and out of order signs including the restroom. After being in the room for nearly 3 hrs hooked up to broken monitor and no word from the doctor I decided I was going to leave. I asked my wife to call someone to unhook the equipment and IV from my arm so I could just go somewhere else. Only then did the nurse and the doctor came in explaining that I needed to stay overnight and they were just waiting on a room. I asked what was my diagnosis and they said that they were not sure that’s why I needed to stay. I stayed all night listening to the nurses and doctors cackling while my room was directly across from them. My monitor would constantly shutdown and star beeping for attention. When I would call for a nurse I could physically watch them ignore the beeping. On multiple occasions they were doing this to other patients and seemed upset that they had to get up. I stayed overnight and only one time did anyone come to check on me. I was discharged the next day with no diagnosis and a prescription for hydrocodone? The best part was when the nurse wheeled me out to my car she actually stop to peek at the waiting room and said she hopes that she doesn’t get seen cause if they know that I was discharged that they would send her another patient. I was discharged with no diagnosis and the next day I ended up passing a kidney stone. I have a few videos that I recorded of the incompetence and behavior of the staff and doctors that work here. This facility needs to be audited along with the personnel. I plan on suing this hospital for their incompetency and hopefully help others from this horrible experience

This hospital is an absolute JOKE. I brought my TWO MONTH OLD son in who has been inconsolable ALL day. We were triaged and put in a fast track area. An entire hour later we still have not seen a nurse or doctor to even voice our reason for being there and the registrar informed us “the doctor is making her rounds”. Meanwhile, the old lady next to us is having her hemorrhoids treated while the entire emergency room is listening to my infant son screaming. It’s absolutely PATHETIC that my son’s needs were completely ignored and a case of HEMORRHOIDS took priority over his care. I’ll never bring my child here again and I’ll be calling my insurance to make sure they weren’t charged considering we received no care

Everyone was vey nice. The nurses, care workers and testing people explained things very well. Doctors kept me informed and were very nice. For food that is heart healthy it was very good.
